Fjällräven secures top position on tradera’s list of most popular brands for fourth year

For the fourth consecutive year, Fjällräven has earned first place in both the overall clothing industry category and the outdoor clothing category in the annual Circular Brands report by Tradera, Sweden’s biggest second-hand marketplace.

The Tradera Circular Brands report is an index that showcases clothing brands that are most appreciated on tradera.com, and are therefore at the forefront of the transition to more circular trade in the fashion industry. The report contains lists of brands that are most popular on Tradera, which are based on the number of searches, sold garments, average price and completion rate during the last 12 months. The categories are divided into women’s, men’s, children’s, outdoor, perfume, and ‘rising star’. It also includes a top 25 list for the entire clothing industry where Fjällräven has once again claimed the top position for the 2025 edition of the report.

“We are honoured to once again be recognised as Sweden’s most popular clothing brand on Tradera’s second-hand market. This achievement highlights the value of creating durable, timeless products that can be used and loved for generations. At Fjällräven, sustainability is not a trend—it’s a responsibility that guides everything we do. We are proud to be part of the growing movement toward a more circular future in the outdoor industry and beyond,” said Aiko Bode, Chief Sustainability Officer at Fenix Outdoor.

Since its foundation in 1960, Fjällräven has been dedicated to creating durable, functional and timeless garments that enable people to explore and the great outdoors. The brand’s emphasis on durable materials ensures that its products last for decades of use, to be passed on to the next generation or re-sold on the second-hand market. This way, fewer products need to be produced, less energy needs to be consumed and fewer products end up as waste.

The company’s latest initiative includes Fjällräven Pre-Loved which aims to extend the life of its products and support a more circular approach to outdoor gear. The new secondhand platform is currently active in the United States, and allows customers to buy and sell pre-owned Fjällräven items that have been carefully inspected, repaired and approved for resale, and is part of Fjällräven’s long-term commitment to durability and sustainability.
